Father’s Day Gift Buying

Father’s Day Gift Buying

Father’s day is approaching this weekend, so what do you get for the man that has everything? Mother’s Day is easy. They love brunch, pampering at a fancy spa, or just some time alone. Does Dad need another pair of goofy socks or a new tie? Being sneaky and using the internet, we can now figure out what Dad wants with ease. I have found three great tips if you can’t quite find the perfect gift for the man who holds such a special place in your heart. I hope you enjoy Cathy’s Tuesday Tip! ~Cathy

Subscription Boxes

Everyone has heard of subscription boxes like the Dollar Shave Club, which a great gift for any dad. There are subscription boxes for every man, such as unique colognes, skin care, or oral care. You can also consider a Beer of the Month Club or Bacon of the Month Club! If Dad is an avid hunter or survivalist, Battlbox may better suit his interests. These monthly boxes offer products that may be new on the market or so unique that they aren’t sold yet in mainstream stores.

I don’t recommend that you invade your father’s privacy but doing a little investigating my turn up info that will lead you to the perfect gift. Check Amazon for clues if your family shares an Amazon account. If you are sure, Dad won’t mind, check his search history. Don’t dig too far because he still deserves his privacy. You may find a new toolset he’s been price checking or maybe a new TV. If you do choose to play detective, remember his privacy.

Unpractical Gifts

If the subscription box ideas are not for your dad and your sleuthing has turned up nothing other than proving your Dad already has everything, find something that he would NEVER buy himself. You can find custom toys online that will turn your dad into a toy, such as a bobblehead or a superhero. Upload a picture and then make a few choices like clothing and accessories.

This Father’s Day, surprise your dad with something from the heart. Show him just how special he is by avoiding a necktie this year!
